RFQ Notes

Please provide load environment, fabrication method, welding requirement, visible finish, length tolerance, packing method and project destination. For outdoor, salt-spray or chemical environments, 304 or 316 is usually preferred.

Procurement Guidance

Mechanical structural tube is usually purchased for fabrication efficiency, dimensional stability and surface consistency. Round tube, square tube and rectangular tube can all be used for frames and supports, but the best choice depends on welding layout, exposed sides, load direction, cutting method and the final appearance after assembly.

For repeat export orders, share drawings or a sample specification sheet whenever possible. Details such as corner radius, straightness, twist, polishing direction, end cut quality and bundle protection can decide whether downstream fabrication runs smoothly or needs extra sorting and rework.

If the tube will be powder coated, welded into frames or installed outdoors, note the planned surface treatment and exposure level before confirming the grade.
